Primary Schools Quiz 2023

Our Primary Schools Quiz was back in person for 2023 after a hiatus due to Covid-19.

Our primary schools quiz is one of our biggest events in the Credit Union calendar.  Not only was it fantastic to have our schools quiz back in person but also to have the huge turnout of students, parents and teachers that we were accustomed to pre covid.

Due to now having 72 primary schools in our common bond area and with space constraints in venues, we deemed it necessary to hold two quizzes over two nights.

We held our first quiz on Friday 27th January in Longford and our second quiz on Monday 30th January in the Mullingar Park Hotel.

At our Longford quiz we had a total of 18 schools taking part, made up of 31 teams with 124 students.

At our quiz in Mullingar we had a total of 39 schools, made up of  64 teams with 256 students.

Both quizzes were to a very high standard with all schools doing exceptionally well.

There were two categories – Competition A  for students under 11 years of age and Competition B for students under 13 years of age.
